What are the details on THULS lifetime warranty?

Every THULS product is guaranteed for life against defects in materials and workmanship under normal field use. If your THULS sheet tears, delaminates, loses its rewritable surface, or fails to repel water, mud, grease, or blood as intended, we will replace it. This warranty covers the product only (not marker ink or damage from fire, intentional destruction, or extreme conditions beyond its design). Simply send us an email with your order number or reply to your order confirmation and we'll get the process started. We build THULS to outlast the mission.

What is your return policy?

We want you to be happy with your purchase and to tell your friends about your positive experience. We accept your returns or exchanges within 30 days of receipt. If there is a warranty issue with your order, we'll cover the cost of shipping back to us. Shipping for exchanges or returns of non-warranty issues are non-refundable and will incur a calculated fee, based on size, weight, and location, for the return shipping back to our warehouse. Shipping insurance is also non-refundable since we incur a cost on the insurance applied to each order.

Your return must be unused, in its original packaging, and with all protective films intact. Products returned that are used, missing original packaging, or have had their protective films removed may not qualify for a refund. A return that is received that does not conform with the above policies may be shipped back to the customer at their expense.

Why is there a charge on my credit card, but I didn't get an order confirmation?

A charge appearing on your card without an order confirmation email is almost always one of these three things (99.99% of the time it’s #1 or #2):

  1. The charge is an authorization hold, not a final charge.
    When you place an order with the wrong billing zipcode or billing address, your bank immediately “freezes” the funds (shows as a pending charge), but the merchant hasn’t captured the money yet. Confirmation emails are usually only sent after the payment is fully captured, which can take a few minutes to a few hours. Check your bank in 24–48 hours—the pending charge often disappears.
  2. The confirmation email went to spam/junk or was mistyped.
    Search your inbox (and spam folder) for “THULS." Also, double-check the email address you entered at checkout—typos are super common.
  3. Very rare: a processing glitch on our end. This has never happened to us, so it's highly unlikely.

If the charge has posted (not just pending) and it’s been more than 48 hours with zero email, shoot us a quick message at info@thuls.us with the approximate date/time of the charge. We’ll try to find the order in the system and resend confirmation within minutes or change the email if it was mistyped.

What is your timeframe for fulfillment?

We try to fulfill every order within 2-5 business days. We sometimes have customers who order at 7pm on a Friday and wonder why their order hasn't shipped by Monday morning. Please don't be that person who emails to complain that we're not as fast as Amazon.

Do you ship internationally?

We do not ship internationally at this time. For international order, please use our partners at Battle Board.

THULS

Are THULS sheets, cards, and overlays just coated paper?

No, this patented concept incorporates a specially manufactured polymer paper replacement material that provides the user with a durable, re-writable surface that survives the harshest conditions.

Can I use THULS in the rain or underwater?

The pages are completely waterproof, not just water-resistant. Tests have submerged pages for 2 months with no detrimental effects.

Will the printed information wipe off when I erase with alcohol?

No, the printed information is completely encapsulated by an extremely durable, waterproof sealant layer and is unaffected by the environment.

How do you write underwater?

Use a pencil, mechanical pencil, or grease pencil to mark on THULS underwater.

What kind of markers work with THULS?

Alcohol-based markers, such as Staedtler map markers and Sharpies work well with THULS. Simply erase the marks with 90% alcohol solution on a pad or from a spray bottle.

These only work when the THULS is dry.

How many times can marks be erased?

Tests have shown the pages can stand up to a minimum of 200 cycles, that’s when we stopped out of boredom

Do THULS books have an NSN?

No. THULS products are not currently in the NSN system. However, we are able to accommodate orders for government agencies via 889 forms and custom quotes. Use our contact tab to get the process started.

Do you make custom THULS books for different units, companies, or agencies?

Yes, we frequently make custom books. Please send us a message from our Custom page.

How can I make a unit purchase?

Short answer, Contact us. We are more than happy to assist in filling unit orders. We will provide 889 forms as well as custom order quotes when requested.

No, we are two separate companies that just work together on a lot of collaborations.

Battle Board® gear is guaranteed to be free from defects in materials, craftsmanship, and product failures for life.

Battle Board gear endures the most rigorous and austere environments in the world. Unfortunately, Battle Board does not accept warranties for normal wear and tear or for gear that has been involved in an accident, modified, used against its intended use, exposed to extreme conditions (such as being left in a hot vehicle), or was purchased from a non-authorized reseller (THULS.US is an authorized reseller). 

Do you sell everything Battle Board makes?

No, we sell only the Battle Board items that apply directly to THULS. Please visit www.battleboard.us to check out their full lineup.
